Phnom Penh Governor and OCIC Deal in Compensation for People Affected by Satellite City Development Project
(Phnom Penh): In the morning of January 20, 2020, there was a ceremony to handover of land titles to 51 families who are affected by the Satellite City Development Project in Chroy Changvar. Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh Capital City, said that the distribution of land titles to 51 families is the fifth time. The total are 341 land titles will be completed soon.
Khuong Sreng confirmed that the distribution of land titles is a reflection of the high priority of the Royal Government in ensuring the legal tenure of the people. Citizens aim to improve livelihoods, reduce poverty, and contribute to strengthening social justice.
According to the company, it has solved the problem for 92.06% while the remaining 7% or more than 80 families will be finalized.
In the end, the company strives to develop the satellite city to become a modern city with commercial centers, administrative buildings, a wide-open communications complex, a theme park and luxury residential buildings, a mall for the civilized lives of the city’s residents.
