Five Provinces along Dangrek Mountain and Northeast Plateau to Experience Drop in Temperature to 17 degrees Celsius
(Phnom Penh): The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has issued a climate notice in Cambodia from today till January 20, 2020.
The ministry said that through continuous monitoring of the weather conditions, the high pressure valley would move downward with northeast monsoon affecting Cambodia.
This situation will have effects as follows:
– January 15-17: Provinces situated along Dangrek Mountain and the Northeast Plateau include Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri and Pailin will have cooler temperatures in the morning with the minimum temperature of 17-20 °C while the maximum temperature is 29-32 °C
For low-lying areas, the minimum temperature is 20-22 ° C while the maximum temperature is 30-32 ° C
In coastal areas, the minimum temperature is 23-25 ° C and the maximum temperature is 31-33 ° C.
