CAMSOC Welcomes Candidates to Design Logo and Mascot for SEA Games 2023
(Phnom Penh): Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC) said at a press conference on August 23 the committee now opens for the public to submit “logo” and “mascot”. The selected ones will be used for the SEA Games 2023.
He confirmed today’s press conference focused on the preparation of a public drawing competition for the “logo” and “mascot” characters representing our nation and culture. It is open to the public and young people over the age of 15 years, especially drawing specialists.
Under the direction of the Royal Government of Cambodia as well as the leaders of the 32nd SEA Games in 2023, the emphasis on the “logo” and “mascot” aspects must be attractive in both quality and meaning under the theme of rabbit with Cambodian characteristics.
All applications must be submitted by November 30, 2019 at the Secretariat of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC).
The winner will receive a cash reward (specific amount has not been yet revealed) and his or her masterpiece will be used in the historic event of the 32nd SEA Games 2023 which will be hosted for the very first time by Cambodia.
