PM Hun Sen Receives Outgoing Korean Ambassador
(Phnom Penh): Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen bade farewell to outgoing Korean Ambassador Oh Nak-young on Wednesday morning at the Peace Palace.
The Korean ambassador during the meeting highlighted bilateral cooperation and regional and sub-regional works. The bilateral relations between Cambodia and Korea have been progressing well under good cooperation, in particular in the fields of investment, economy, and tourism.
Late this year, in November, he confirmed Korea will host a ceremony to mark the establishment of dialogue partnership with ASEAN which Cambodia now is playing a vital role in facilitating the dialogues.
In response, Prime Minister Hun Sen praised the investing activities between the two countries but he wished to see the increase in trade volume. He noticed that Cambodia has enjoyed various benefits from bilateral relations and from the framework of sub-region.
