Four Migrant Workers Repatriate from Malaysia
(Phnom Penh): Today, four migrant workers were repatriated to Cambodia after the Embassy of Cambodia in Malaysia intervened and resolved their problem, Foreign Affairs Ministry’s statement said on April 03, 2017.
Those four women came from Kampong Speu province, Preah Vihear province and Pailin province. They were assisted by the Embassy of Cambodia in Malaysia. Accommodation and food were provided to them while they were waiting to repatriate to Cambodia.
The reason why they headed back to their home country is because they could not tolerate working conditions. They arrived in Cambodia this morning.
