(Phnom Penh): Prime Minister Hun Sen wrote on his Facebook page this morning that Cambodia has enjoyed macroeconomic stability and development and that he welcomes all political parties to stand candidates in the upcoming general election 2018.
“The election of members of the National Assembly in the 6th legislature is approaching. I welcome all political parties, which have registered to stand candidates in the election, to be held on July 29, 2018. Cambodia, indeed, respects and practices democracy, which all political parties in the country posses right and have opportunities to compete in the election in a free and fair manner,” the Premier wrote.
“Yesterday, I was very pleased to be able to preside over a ceremony to congratulate International Labor Day at Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone. I was delighted to see all employees, receiving benefits from their employers. At the same time, the Royal Government of Cambodia has paid close attention to the protection and provision of greater benefits to workers, while they are in the labor force and after their retirement, for better living conditions,” he added.
Prime Minister Hun Sen would like to thank the people and the CPP’s members who have confidence in his leadership and continue to vote for the party, allowing the Prime Minister to lead the nation towards development and prosperity.
