(Phnom Penh): After a documentary “Marching Towards A National Salvation” was screened for all Cambodian citizens last night, a man expressed his gratitude toward the Prime Minister for his scarification to rescue the nation and people from further destruction and unlawful killings.
Below is an opinion posted on “Hat Hat Rith Rith” Facebook account:
“On the night of January 3, 2018, my entire family watched the documentary “Marching Towards A National Salvation” airing on the National Television of Kampuchea.
The past: Prime Minister Hun Sen and his spouse reminisced the painful past of the brutal killing of the Pol Pot regime. He wept millions of teardrops but those tears resurrected millions of families.
Being a soldier in a war, especially during genocidal regime, the Prime Minister used his life and struggled to overthrow the regime.
After marriage, there was no such thing as happiness. The first child died and they got separated while his wife got pregnant with his second child. When father and son met, the son called his father “uncle”. This should have not happened to any family.
This is just a summary of the scarification of the Prime Minister for the nation and the citizens. I would like to express my deepest gratitude and wish all Cambodians peace.
