WHO Head Thanks Cambodian Gov’t for Solidarity and Humanity After 20 Passengers Confirmed Coronavirus-Free
(Phnom Penh): The head of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, once again thanks the Cambodian government and the Ministry of Health following the lab results confirming the 20 passengers on Westerdam have no coronavirus (COVID-19).
“Ministry of Health #Cambodia just announced that all 20 passengers from the #Westerdam cruise ship tested negative for #COVID19. Very good news. I thank the Ministry and the government again for their solidarity and humanity,” He tweeted on late Thursday night, February 13, 2020.
“I’m really grateful to all the laboratory #healthworkers around the world, including those in Cambodia in this photo, who are conducting #COVID19 tests with such great care. Their expertise & humanity are fundamental to stop #coronavirus from spreading further.”
