(Phnom Penh): Royal Field Development Company Limited, a subsidiary of leading Cambodian conglomerate Chip Mong Group, organized a ground-breaking ceremony in the morning of January 14 for the construction of a 45-floor hotel with an investment capital of approximately $ 150 million.
The construction site of the international mixed use development project is located along the Russian Federation Boulevard near 5th January flyover, and it is scheduled to be completed by year 2022.
Royal Field Development Company Limited has entered into partnership with Fairfield by Marriott to construct the first 45-storey tall hotel in the capital with international-standard hotel, modern office space, sky bar and a large parking lot.
Okhna Leang Khun, chairman of Chip Mong Group, said in the groundbreaking ceremony in the morning of January 14 that the reputation of Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh will bring fame and a new face to the country and the construction of this international mixed use development project will contribute significantly to Cambodia’s trade and tourism.
