(Phnom Penh): According to the confidential survey of the National Democratic Institute supported by the United States Agency for International Development conducted from 8 to 29 March 2017 for elections in 2017-2018, 58% of the population supports the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) while 41% opposed.
The National Democratic Institute released a report in March 2017 and the findings show that:
1 The population, who supports and thinks that the CPP’s government is on the right path, has increased from 55% to 58%.
2 The population, who does not support and thinks that the CPP’s government is on the wrong path, has decreased from 43% to 41%
3 NDI’s report clearly shows that the response-rate bias is +/- 2.2% only.
