(Phnom Penh): H.E. Hak Sokmakara, Tboung Khmum vice provincial governor, regards the CPP’s victory in the commune/sangkat council election yesterday as a sign of victory for next year’s general election.
“I would like to thank to CPP’s members and 3.5 million people who voted for the CPP to make the party win and lead around 70% of commune/sangkat throughout the country,” H.E. Hak Sokmakara wrote on his facebook.
“In addition to this, what we should be proud of is that the number of supporters has increased around 300,000 votes compared to the election 2013 greater than other parties in Cambodia”
“This is a positive sign for the Cambodia People’s Party to gain the victory for the upcoming general election,” H.E. Hak Sokmakara added.
“This results from the solidarity of the party’s members in all levels domestically and internationally. May the spirit of solidarity grow stronger and continue to ensure the success of the Cambodian People’s Party to the future,” H.E. Hak Sokmakara stated.
