(Phnom Penh): Prime Minister Hun Sen this morning presided over the graduation ceremony for 4,158 graduates from Western University at Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center.
The Premier during the ceremony praised the university for its effort in providing education and skills to approximately 10,000 graduates; currently, there are 5,000 students pursuing degrees at the university and 3,000 among whom are employed.
Quality of education at every university must take into consideration as our country is lack of human resources, said the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Hun Sen noted that the number of female students in university has decreased and the Ministry of Education needs to study, find solutions and encourage female students to access higher education.
