Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen decided to file a complaint against social and political observer Kim Sok on Monday after Mr. Sok said in a forum on Radio Free Asia that the Cambodian People’s Party had a plan to damage reputation of CNRP. He also said that the CNRP killed Mr. Kem Ley. Ky Tech, a lawyer of prime minister Hun Sen, informed Swift News on Sunday.
Mr. Tech said that “ Samdech Hun Sen provided the right to me to file a complaint against Mr. Kim Sok on behalf of the CPP at Phnom Penh Municipal Court tomorrow [Monday] at around 9 am.”
“Mr. Kim Sok said in a forum of RFA accusing the ruling party of having a plan to damage the CNRP, ” Mr. Tech said.
Mr. Tech could not provide further details about the type of charges as he is forming his case.
Mr. Kim Sok is the third person who Prime Minister Hun Sen filed a complaint against after he sued Sam Rainsy and Thak Lany, a senator of CNRP for accusing the government of killing Mr. Kem Ley.
